Natural Site
Etang de Préperny
The pond at Préperny, small in size but exceptional in its biodiversity, is a veritable jewel in the crown of the Haut Morvan mountain forests.
Sylvestre, the elf, and Noctua, his friend the owl, will take you on a voyage of discovery.
A number of hiking trails start here, and a path leads around the pond, past the peat bog and then along the dyke. Educational panels invite you to contemplate and discover the site's natural heritage, following in the footsteps of Sylvestre the elf and Noctua the owl.
