Madame Raymonde and her colourful humour on tour in Nièvre!

With her high heels, fitted dress, elegant pearl necklace and slightly overdone lipstick, she looks like she's stepped straight out of a Marcel Carné film. Madame Raymonde, played by Denis d'Arcangelo, has panache and panache! On stage, she talks a lot and plays with the audience, but with such tenderness that she creates a moving complicity with them. But don't think she minces her words! Madame Raymonde takes us on a popular singing tour where, accompanied by the zebra, her inseparable accordionist, she performs her greatest hits.

In 1988, Philippe Bilheur and Denis d'Arcangelo met Arletty, a great admirer of theirs, and set off to play in the streets, which they loved so much, with a barrel organ... Madame Raymonde was born of these two passions. Philippe Bilheur wrote the dialogues for three street plays featuring the character played by Denis d'Arcangelo, before co-writing this recital of realist songs.

Full of life and character, Madame Raymonde's common sense and humour have already won over a large audience, who never tire of meeting this unique character, one of those we wish we'd met more often.
