Concert - promenade avec ASTERA

The Astera Ensemble is the wind quintet that won 1st Prize at the Carl Nielsen International Chamber Music Competition 2023.
Coline Richard (flute), Moritz Roelcke (clarinet), Gabriel Potier (horn), Jeremy Bager (bassoon) and Yann Thenet (oboe) are united by their friendship and a shared passion for chamber music. The musicians are keen to share their essential vision as chamber musicians: blending the sounds and timbres of five wind instruments in a quest for unity and a great artistic dimension. Their different experiences with major international orchestras have enriched their cohesion, their unique sound and their musical affinity with the wind quintet. In this way, the Franco-Swiss ensemble represents a breath of fresh air in the classical landscape.
