Circuit de Trail: Boucle n°1 de Lormes
This route, the shortest of the trail base from Lormes at 10km, has no major difficulties apart from the climb back up the Narvau gorges, which can be a little tough on the legs. A secondary difficulty, much more manageable, will be the climb back up La Justice, signalling the halfway point. The special feature of this route is that it is partly urban - or peri-urban - allowing you to discover the often little-known old town of Lormes and highlight the magnificent views over the Nivernais region and beyond, one towards the church and the other towards the summit of La Justice.
The only technical difficulty of the route is the descent into the Narvau gorges (take care if the ground is wet) and the ascent to the church in Lormes. If you don't have a time trial in mind, we invite you to explore these gorges by leaving the main route.
The rest of the route presents no technical difficulties and is perfectly suited to Nordic walking.
