Boucle Bibracte, Saint-Prix, Glux-en-Glenne, Le Puits, Vallée de La Roche
A looping route along little-travelled back roads, starting from the Col du Rebout, opposite the Bibracte archaeological museum (Mont-Beuvray) and heading towards the Bois du Folin, passing through Saint-Prix, Glux-en-Glenne, Le Puits, the La Roche valley, the Château de Pierrefitte and back to Bibracte.
You'll alternate between magnificent views of the surrounding countryside and overcast stretches through the Morvan forests. Along the way, you can admire the little church and presbytery at Saint-Prix and, at Glux-en-Glenne, the building of the European archaeological centre, the church and the little castle at Verclos.
After passing through Le Puits, you will descend to the La Roche valley, bordered by meadows, which you will follow under cover of trees before returning to Bibracte via the Pierrefitte castle.
