Gouloux waterfall

Under trees...

Under the trees of a forest hides a magic treasure that will delight young and old: the Gouloux Jump. By taking the path through the woods, the tumult of the water will guide you.
You will be transported along the path of the "trout jump" guided by "Fario" trout drawn on the terminals along the way. Following the footbridges, you will navigate the rapids of the Cure.
You will climb the path to the point of view where you can see the peaceful village of Gouloux in its green setting. Following the path, you will stop the benches to enjoy a relaxing break in the middle of the green nature. You will see a metal "teepee". Come in, close your eyes and listen to the roaring stream of water.

Here the sounds are amplified. While browsing this walk, note the contrast between the calm of the forests and the tumult of the white water. You will continue your route and you will find in a clearing where the magic of Gouloux Jump will reveal itself entirely to you. It will bring you freshness and well-being. Ruins close to the waterfall will arouse your curiosity: by reading the inscriptions, discover the history of these two mills and the role that this waterfall played in the floating of the wood.

Gourmet break ...

Your stomach gurgles, hunger is felt. Go back to the car park and stop in the restaurant loaded with delicious food. The typical dishes of the Morvan will give you a glimpse of traditional gastronomy. The restaurant with a view of the Cure will offer you the opportunity to enjoy the coolness of the water thanks to its terrace. If you prefer to eat a picnic from the bag, you can still enjoy it in the shade of trees at the foot of the waterfall. This will allow you to enjoy this remarkable site again.

You will find on the car park providers of "nature sports" with which you can share a moment of conviviality and good mood on the rapids of Morvan. Let yourself slide on the turbulent waters while enjoying the shade of the forests. No matter if you choose rafting, hydrospeed or hot dog, you are sure to enjoy a unique experience that will delight you. At the end of this beautiful day, relive your memories together by sipping a drink on the terrace or returning to your accommodation.
