Nature & Environment in Morvan

Where water and mountain meet...

  • lac pannecière

The domain of the Morvan Great Lakes perches on the granite Morvan Massif. It offers you shady banks, both calm and white waters, and paths nestled in green settings. You will discover a well-tended landscape at the heart of the Morvan Regional Natural Park.

This rural world with a strong identity, a rich natural and cultural heritage, guarantees you a complete change of scene!

The paths and lanes lead you to wooded meadows with unobstructed views of the ocean of forest and greenery. If you follow the courses of the streams, you will come across six very different lakes: the Lac des Settons, with its nautical base and boat trips is the place to sail. Those who like calm and silence will prefer the Lac de Saint-Agnan, a great place for fishing.
Others love the vastness of the Lac de Pannecière, the biggest lake in Burgundy. Some enjoy strolling in the surroundings of the Lacs de Chaumeçon, du Crescent and de Chamboux.

You can multiply by six your reasons for spending your holidays in the region of the Great Morvan Lakes!
